BQ specifies the type of materials, method of work and the quantities of work to be <\/span><span id=\"tn_30\" class=\"t s1_30\" data-oc=\"true\">done. When the contract is signed, the priced BQ become part of the contract agreement and <\/span><span id=\"to_30\" class=\"t s1_30\" data-oc=\"true\">will be used for preparation of the final account and settlement of any variations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span id=\"tc_30\" class=\"t s2_30\" data-oc=\"true\">Specifications <\/span><\/strong><span id=\"td_30\" class=\"t s1_30\" data-oc=\"true\">These are documents prepared by architect to supplement the drawings. A specification specifies <\/span><span id=\"te_30\" class=\"t s1_30\" data-oc=\"true\">or describes the nature and class of work and materials to be used in the various parts of work <\/span><span id=\"tf_30\" class=\"t s1_30\" data-oc=\"true\">from foundations to superstructure in details as well as methods of work (workmanship).
